Key Stage 2 Form Teacher, Poland
Full-time primary teacher for key stage 2
A fast-growing international school located in the city of Szczecin, North-West Poland is looking for a key stage 2 primary teacher to become part of our vibrant and dedicated team. The School's mission is to provide a stimulating, happy and secure learning environment in which all members of the school community can grow in confidence, develop their potential and work together towards building a promising future.
The Szczecin Academy of International Learning utilizes the British National Curriculum incorporating elements of the international Primary Curriculum however candidates are not required to have experienced the IPC prior to starting work at the school. The School's operating language is English and all lessons and activity at the school are conducted in English so candidates are not required to have any Polish language skills.
Successful candidates should be an English native speaker, a qualified, open-minded and creative primary teacher, willing to adapt the curriculum to the needs of international students while encouraging children to achieving high results and most importantly fulfilling the curriculum criteria. Candidates with a bachelor degree and specialising in key subjects such as science, maths or humanistic subjects would be preferable as the role includes coordinating the programme among other members of staff in these areas of focus. Our school is looking for teachers who enjoy work with children and who would also be prepared to engage children in a rich programme of extra curricular activities related to creative arts, sports or science/technology. A second European language in the teachers skills set would be an additional asset.
